We had great excitement in St Michael's school on Friday as we celebrated the Sport & Achievement Awards 2024. All students received a gold medal for their outstanding participation in all sporting activities throughout the year. We had a very special award this year the Sports Star Awards and 1 student from each room received this award.
Well done to Vanessa, Charlotte, Amy, Katie, Ryan, Dion, Ava, Enzo, Callum, Lariza, Ella & Peter. Students also received certificates for the Junior Cycle, QQI & Active Schools leadership. St Michael's school received its 10th Green Flag award & Active Schools award.
Well done to all the students what an amazing year it has been in St Michael's school.
A surprise visitor Sergeant Deirdre Coleman popped in to meet the students in St. Michael's this morning. There was some very interesting conversations and curiosity about Gardaí in the various classrooms. Enzo was captured interacting and role playing with Deirdre and we are all looking forward to her next visit in the Autumn.
